With performances as smooth and silky as his chocolate skin, Johnny has dazzled the ladies from South to North since 2003. His repertoire remains comfortably in the '70s, the decade of big cars, big hair and big.... well, everything.

Johnny's major influences are King Floyd, Rufus Thomas (aka "The funkiest man alive," although Johnny begs to disagree) and Clarence Carter.

You may have spotted Johnny on stage in Columbus, OH at the National Women's Music Festival 2004 or at Dragdom at IDKE 6 in Chi-town. (See a snapshot from that performance on the IDKE 7 site.) Johnny also performs with the Cuntry Kings, most recently at IDKE 7 in Winnipeg, Manitoba in October 2005 and at the Great Big v.6 in May 2006 in Washington D.C.
